Move as many static elements into the background and foreground as possible… notwithstanding your design’s layering constraints of course. I’ll admit, it is nice to make Live Text elements that are little self-contained units but if they start having too many layers or vertices, you need to consider rendering them less often… this is where your background and foreground come in.
To this end, when using the second tag within Live Text, consider separating it into its own Live Text element. All layers and shapes are continually re-rendered each second when they occupy the same element as this tag.
